Today Bali is already too touristy in many areas, so we need to integrate ourselves into the real Bali! That Bali that our grandparents discovered…
But we need Jeeps (4×4) Land Rovers, equipped with a powerful engine and a modern structure to access roads that a normal car could not get through. The roof window will be opened for you so that you can stand up and have much better panoramic views than from a normal car. Beware of the branches of the banana trees! After a strong 4×4 picks you up at your hotel, our tour will start with a refreshing visit to the waterfall Tukad Cepung where we will go into his cave to see the spectacular fall 15 meters amidst the lush nature. Take for a swim refreshing! In the village of Kedui, a local person will climb to the top of a coconut tree by just feet and hands, to pick up a sweet coconut wine grown there at the top and give you a bit to drink. We will continue through the bamboo forest to reach a plantation, where you will know many Indonesian spices, such as vanilla, coffee and others. After a delicious lunch at a restaurant overlooking the Batur volcano and lake (Geopark, UNESCO) in Kintamani, we will continue to Bubung Renteng Temple, with statues covered with moss and in an environment that will remind us of famous adventure films! Then a 100m short trekking waits for us to have an unbeatable view of Batur volcano and lake. Then we will go aboard our Jeep again to climb a mountain road, with panoramic views of the other 2 volcanoes of Bali: Agung and Batur, to the village of Suter, where we will see a local man who still keeps an ancient cultural tradition of handmade knives. Then we will drive through small villages, where we will see the Balinese in their traditional lifestyle (please keep discretion if you see Balinese bathing naked in a river at sunset!). Finally, we will make a last stop at the Banyan Tree, a sacred tree to the Balinese. We will be dropped at one of the best spas in Bali to enjoy your treatment. These 4×4 Jeep are supporting the SUSTAINABLE TOURISM (UNESCO), since your visit:
– improves the quality of life of the inhabitants of the place
– strengthens their cultural and social values
– is creating added value to your visit
