Gunung Kawi – Tirta Empul – Besakih – Kerta Gosa – Celuk – Mas
During this day you will have a private driver for following route, which you can adjust at your needs:
You will begin your day visiting the famous Gunung Kawi Temple, with ancient engravings on its rocks. You will continue to the Sacred Springwater Temple called Tirta Empul, where the Balinese come to bathe and relieve the bad dreams that they might have had the night before. You will continue towards Besakih Temple, also known as “mother temple”, on the slopes of the volcano Agung, the highest and most sacred mountain of Bali. You will then visit Kerta Gosa, or Justice Palace, in Klungkung, where you can find paintings of the life of a Balinese and their Gods. You will finish with a relaxing visit to the towns of Celuk and Mas, where you will be amazed with the great patience with which craftsmen still preserve their tradition of work on silver and wood, respectively. Finally, return to your hotel or villa.
